Brit Awards 2012 Nominees

Once again The Brits are just around the corner and the 2012 nominees have now been announced.

British Album of the Year

• Adele – 21
• Coldplay – Mylo Xyloto
• Ed Sheeran - +
• Florence & the Machine – Ceremonials
• P J Harvey – Let England Shake

My prediction is that Adele is going to walk away with this Brit Award her voice has taken the Nation by storm and with such an amazing voice this album is number one for me.

British Male Solo Artist

• Ed Sheeran
• James Blake
• James Morrison
• Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
• Professor Green

My prediction is that Ed Sheeran is going to walk away with this Brit Award; he has literally come out of nowhere and seems to be very popular.

British Female Solo Artist

• Adele
• Jessie J
• Florence & The Machine
• Kate Bush
• Laura Marling

My prediction is that Jessie J is going to walk away with this Brit Award, she did extremely well at last years Brit Awards and I think she will carry on with this winning streak.

British Breakthrough Act

• Ed Sheeran
• Jessie J
• Emeli Sandé
• Anna Calvi
• The Vaccines

My prediction is that it will be a close call between Jessie J and Ed Sheeran but I am going to hazard a guess and say that Jessie J will walk away with the Brit Award.

British Group

• Artic Monkeys
• Coldplay
• Chase & Status
• Elbow
• Kasabian

My prediction is that Coldplay will walk away with this Brit Award. After seeing their performance on the live final of The X Factor and it was amazing so I think they deserve this award.

British Single

• Adele – Someone Like You
• Ed Sheeran – The A Team
• Example – Change The Way You Kissed Me
• Olly Murs ft Rizzle Kicks – Heart Skips A Beat
• Jessie J ft Bob – Price Tag
• JLS – She Makes Me Wanna
• One Direction – What Makes You Beautiful
• Military Wives – Wherever You Are
• Pixie Lott – All About Tonight
• The Wanted – Glad You Came

This is a very tough category in my opinion and I’m finding it hard to be confident in my winner prediction as I love every song in the category. However I am going to say that JLS will just clinch it with their huge fan base and it’s a summer anthem.

International Male Solo Artist

• Bruno Mars
• Aloe Blacc
• Bon Ive
• Ryan Adams
• Davie Guetta

My prediction is that Bruno Mars will walk away with this Brit Award because in my opinion he has gone from strength to strength throughout 2011.

International Female Solo Artist

• Lady Gaga
• Rihanna
• Beyoncé
• Bjork
• Feist

My prediction is that Rihanna will walk away with this Brit Award there is no stopping this girl.

International Group

• Foo Fighters
• Fleet Foxes
• Lady Antebellum
• Jay Z/ Kanye West
• Maroon 5

My prediction is that Maroon 5 will walk away with this award they have once again blasted the way into the charts and everyone just loves their song with Christina Aguilera Moves Like Jagger.

International Breakthrough Act

• Nicki Minaj
• Bon Iver
• Aloe Blacc
• Lana Del Rey
• Foster the People

My prediction is that Nicki Minaj will walk away with this Brit Award after smashing the charts with Superbase.
