Criminal Minds - Heathridge Manor

Criminal Minds – Heathridge Manor
(Series 7 – Episode 19)

Well here we finally are, the long wait is finally over, Matthew Grey Gubler’s third directed episode was aired on Friday night. The episode started back in 1996 and showed a woman reading a story to her son before being taken away to a psychic hospital. She tells her son to make sure he looks after his sister.
Present day it shows two teenagers sneaking in to an abandoned psych hospital only for them to find the dead body of a woman. The woman was dressed in renaissance clothing and bound, when the team look at the case Reid says that limestone was found under her fingernails so the unsub killed her in a secondary location.

We then see another woman who is crying for help in a well type dungeon and buckets of water are being poured on her every few seconds filling the well up.

This episode also starred the famous Robert Englund more famously known as Freddy Krueger playing the lead detective which was quite weird to watch him playing one of the good guys. At the crime scene Rossi notices that the bed has been dragged into the centre of the room, the bed is heavy to move so it must have had some importance to the unsub.

Back at Heathridge Manor we see the boy talking to his mother and she is telling him that he is the chosen defender and he must be vigilant to destroy them before they destroy the family. The boys name is James and his sister is called Lara who wants to go back to school but James is adamant that it is safer for her hear as at school she will get teased. Lara is confused as she has friends and she tells him that maybe their mother is wrong and he doesn’t have to find the wives.

The team have been trying to track down the dresses but they are told that that line is no longer in production. Prentiss notice some numbers wrote on the hospital wall along with the graffiti and next to one of the numbers has the victim’s name which tells them that there are more victims to come.

We then see James pull out the woman who he left drowning in the well and both he a Lara watch as the woman begins to cough up water and James declares that she is one of them. We then see James sewing her into another medieval type dress. In the meantime Reid has worked out that the numbers in front of the victims names are all dates from the satanic calendar of sacrifice.

Lara has a visitor – a friend from school that James rudely kicks out. Lara stresses that she wants to go to the prom with her friends but James says that she will only bring on unnecessary danger.

Rossi and Prentiss check out the play costumes through a theatre that is across the road from the latest crime scene and find out that the costumes were stolen and they are from the play ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’

We then see James speaking to his mother again who says that Lara is at a very vulnerable age and he needs to be careful as the devil will take notice of that.

Reid works out that the unsub is trying to the devil, not worship him; this is because of the white make up he puts on the women after their death showing their purity. Garcia also finds out that an actress donated the dresses to the theatre sixteen years ago and was a patient at the psych hospital and was believe to be the one who started the fire.

At Heathridge Manor, James has created Lara her very own prom and tells her that he has the final wife. Lara is happy about this because it means that it is over and she can go back to school. We now see that Lara has a fake arm although we are yet to find out the reason behind this. When they go to check on the final wife the woman does not wake up which means she was innocent, Lara gets upset and tells James she wants to ring the police which makes him angry and he says he will get the final wife but Lara tells him that this will never end.

Prentiss and JJ find a woman with the surname Heathridge at the place where the old psyche files have been kept; this woman was a textile heiress and came off her anti psych medication whilst she was pregnant. During this time she had a small part in the play ‘The Merry Wives of Windsor’ in which she ended up killing one of the actresses as she thought she was the devil bride. She also chopped off her baby daughters arm to make her less appealing to the devil. Reid suggests that the Heathridge children are carrying out their mothers delusions whilst Garcia finds the team the address.

James wakes up Lara and dresses her up in an Elizabethan dress and ties her up and tells her that when the devil comes for her he will kill it so that she can live. He then passionately kisses Lara which gave me the creeps as they are brother and sister.

As the BAU search the manor we see Lara having difficulty breathing and Morgan finds a mausoleum with a dead woman inside who he assumes is James’s first victim. Prentiss finds Lara and struggles as she tries to get the dress that has been sewn on undone. Hotch has gone down to the dungeon where James starts a fight with him, James has the unfair advantage of using a fire poke as a weapon. Hotch however gives it all back and James ends up falling down the well type dungeon.

Lara seems to be fine even though her brother is dead but the team however still worry about her. The manor seems to breed illusions, how long before Lara starts acting on hers? We then see Lara answer the door where a man tells her that he has been waiting for her for a long time and that she must go with him now. However it then shows us the viewers that no one is actually there, it looks like the manor has claimed another victim.

I loved this week’s episode especially as it had Salem’s witch trial theme to it. I also thought that Matthew did an excellent job in directing this episode and I will look forward to another episode being directed by the Gubler again.

Criminal Minds - Foundation

Criminal Minds – Foundation
(Series 7 – Episode 18)

This episode opens with a man driving his family home and nearly falling asleep as the wheel, we see the man get out getting some fresh air and joke around with his wife and son. This screams unsub attack but in a nice twist as the man starts the engine and the headlights come on they see a young beaten boy.
We then see Morgan and JJ visit the young boy at the hospital, he is being kept in a dim room away from much noise dues to his sever circumstances. When Morgan sees the child who has cramped himself under a table and refusing to communicate he tells JJ that this boy has been in captivity for years.
Before the team got to the station they were sent some video footage of a woman named Sam Allen who came to tell the police that she remembers seeing a boy about thirty years ago just in chains just like the boy they have just found. However when she saw a photograph of her father she freaked out and left. When Prentiss and Rossi track her down and ask her about it she says that she made a mistake.
Morgan is sat at the end of the hospital bed and rolls a coin to the boy who is still under the table, after a while the boy begins to roll the coin back to him. The boys confidence builds and he decides to come from under the table however when one of the machines goes of to alert the doctor he races back under. You can see the trust the boy has in Morgan when after he calms him down the boy then comes back. JJ sits at the side of Morgan and asks the boy his name, the boy refuses to speak even when JJ asks him in Spanish but instead points to the wings on the coin Morgan has been rolling to him and then points to his back where JJ finds out he is called Angel. Morgan doesn’t leave Angel along and they bond as he teaches him how to turn the coin down his fingers.

Sam later returns to the station to see Prentiss and admits that her father use to keep her busy with sports because he was always busy at work and it was when she saw the news report on the boy that she had a flash of memory but she doesn’t know if it is real or not. The team have also worked out that the boys must have met the unsub before because after speaking to the new boy that disappeared parents they weren’t the type of children to just go off with strangers.
Prentiss decides it is best for Sam to undergo a cognitive interview where Sam reveals that she wasn’t feeling well so called out for her mother who was too weak so she crawled into bed with her. Something made her go downstairs into the basement and she sees a man putting a chained boy into the back of the truck, she cannot make out whether or not it is her father. After the interview is finished Sam claims that her father cannot be behind all of this because he raised her. The team have found out that JB Allen aka Sam’s father lives in a house that is pretty isolated and would be perfect for hiding a child.
Morgan and JJ go back to see Angel and quickly stop Angel from stabbing his arm. Meanwhile Garcia has tracked Angel’s mother down and she is on her way, it is then that Morgan tells JJ that Angel might not be ready to see her and his mother will just have to find a way to deal with it.

Angel’s mother tells JJ that she wants to hold her son when JJ suggests that they go and get a drink, as Morgan goes to see what is going on Angel grabs his arm so he stays put. JJ asks Angel’s mother why she never contacted the police when Angel was abducted and she said she had wanted to but if they found her they would send her back home and she had to protect her family.
Prentiss suggests that Sam should go back to the basement in her father’s home to see if it triggers anything else, they wire her up. She goes to her father’s place and asks if he still has her catcher’s mitt. He tries to distract her from going in the basement but as Sam persists he doesn’t stop her. After she didn’t find anything that links him to the abductions Rossi announces that all they have now is the kid.
Morgan is back at the hospital with Angel and is explaining that the challenge coin represents a French soldier who crawled his way through no mans land and into French territory and the French thought he was German and he was nearly executed, it wasn’t until another soldier recognised the marks on the coin that they knew he was telling the truth. Morgan then gives the coin to Angel and tells him to keep it as it has kept him safe over the years, he then goes on to tell him about Karl Bueffer was his coach and did some bad things to him when he was younger and he thought about slitting his wrists too but decided he never wanted to let the son of a bitch beat him. He promises Angel that the guy who did this to him will not win.
Back at the station Prentiss is asking Sam what her father was like as she was growing up and says that she thinks she has buried the extreme mood swings he used to have and then it comes to light he use to give her gifts to make up for them she said he gave her the catchers mitt and a bike and it had not been the bike she had asked for.
Morgan asks Angel what the man had done to him and he said he use to bite him and then shows him the bite marks, Morgan asks if he will let the doctors examine him in the hope that they can match dental records.
Prentiss asks Sam if her father had given her anything in 2004 and she remembers that’s when he had given her a puppy, after checking with Angel’s mother JJ tells the team that he had been playing with a puppy on the night he was abducted. JJ mentions that they are trying to get a match on the bite marks for dental records when Sam shockly announces that her father had his teeth capped a few years ago.
We then see JJ open a trap door and tell the new boy Billy not to give him any trouble.

Morgan rushes from the hospital when JJ tells him that the team are on their way to pick JB Allen up, they also found out that he met the children before by giving them rides on his construction sites
After the team couldn’t find JB Allen at his home they ask Sam if there is a particular work place that he is proud of and she gives them the address to his first development where he likes to add something to it each year – how long has he been killing?
We see JB Allen throw Billy in to the built out grave and begin to use the machine to bury him. He begins to run when the team catch up on him but Morgan is right behind him. When he catches up with him he begins to repeatedly punch him but Rossi stops him before he takes things too far.
Morgan is then back at the hospital with Angel who says he is ready to be reunited with his mother who embracing him in a hug.
Back at Quantico Morgan and JJ are in his office where he has a row of challenge coins and he explains that he gave Angel the only one that had wings on it. They discuss what happened to Morgan when he was younger and Morgan confesses that he wouldn’t be where he was today if it wasn’t for Karl Bueffer. JJ still apologises all the same. The episode ends with Morgan and JJ heading down the hall.

JLS

JLS
THE 4TH DIMENSION TOUR
(Sheffield – 28/3/12)

The highlight of my week was definitely going to see JLS on their current tour. I went with my best friend, cousin and my little brother who had never been to a concert before let alone a boy band concert. It was also the first time we had managed to get floor seats.
First of all came the support acts – we had NVS up to start the ball rolling who seem to warm the crowd up nicely, one of the guys did remind me of a younger version of Marvin. The came Oritse’s girl group Vida who even though there music is not exactly my cup of tea got the crowd going and it was nice to see the support from the JLS fans and finally came Starboy Nathan who really got the crowd worked up and got himself a new fan in me – I love his song ‘Who Am I’.
Now it was time for the main act itself and after a bit of confusion of whether they were going to come down from the roof at the front of the stage (as we say people up there) they had travelled across the arena and came down one by one into a middle stage and kicked off the show with Take You Down followed by The Club Is Alive. The crowd went crazy as the guys ran through the crown to get to the front of the stage.
I loved the whole then to this years tour with it being a matrix / ghostbusters / video game thing. The show was full of surprises like flying about in the air while doing their own rendition of hit song Earthquake to emerging in to the middle of the crowd again on a triangle scaffolding getting up close and personal with their fans.
They played hit after hit and even treat us to some album tracks off of their other albums including Outta This World and That’s My Girl. They even did a medley of Chris Brown and Usher which they absolutely smashed.
After singing their anthem Everybody In Love in the middle stage earlier on in the night it led me to wonder what song they would finish with. Of course everyone was up on their feet when they belted out their summer smash hit of 2011 She Makes Me Wanna and I along with the people that came with me was doing the famous dance routine. It was time to slow it down a bit and let us catch our breath while they beautifully sang their new single which is also in aid of Sports Relief – Proud. I have to congratulate Aston and JB in particular on the high notes that they hit during the song – I was completely amazed.
It was drawing to the end of what was going to be a fantastic night and yet I still couldn’t work out what song they would end on – they had already sung Everybody In Love and She Makes Me Wanna, I had completely forgotten about Do You Feel What I Feel until the beat music started.
All in all JLS completely smashed the show from beginning to end – it was completely AB – tastic with Oritse flashing his new abs at the crown, it was only JB who kept his shirt on but with the arms he has got he doesn’t need to flash his abs.
I left the arena with my ear ringing and hardly being able to speak but it was completely worth it. The only problem JLS have is how the hell are they going to top this years tour next year. I will look forward to finding out.

Criminal Minds - I Love You Tommy Brown

Criminal Minds – I Love You Tommy Brown
(Series 7 – Episode 17)

The episode opens with a teenage girl sneaking out of her house late at night to meet up with her boyfriend. While they are making out in the garden whilst the rest of the street is dead you think potential victims…Wrong. We see the teenage girl go back to her house to find her foster parents have been murdered whilst she has been away.

We are then at Quantico where we see a nervous Kevin trying to ask Morgan for his advice on proposing to Garcia however Derek is busy and needs to get to a meeting, unfortunately Garcia has seen the pair talking and she wants to know what it is about. Morgan tried brushing her off with ‘guy talk’ but Garcia is having none of it but she will have to wait as she has a case to present. In the meantime the unsub has already targeted another couple.
We know that the unsub is a woman as we saw her kill the other couple and we next see her sat out of a café overlooking a pregnant woman with a young child and asks to touch the bump. She then goes to a woman’s house claiming she is from social services on a routine check, when she realises the woman no longer has a child in her care she makes her remove her dress and necklace and when the woman is reciting the fathers prayer she gets angry and shoots her multiple times, definite overkill. During this time Reid and Rossi have worked out that she kills the foster parents when she knows they haven’t got a child, so she will keep on killing until she finds a child.

At the latest crime scene we see that Morgan is ignoring Garcia’s calls and when JJ asks why he says that it’s complicated. We then see Garcia leaving him an angry voicemail and angry voicemail saying that this is the 67th voice message she has left and she wants him to get in touch and tell her what he and Kevin were talking about otherwise she is going to post the picture of him when he posed nude for her art class and not the good one. Wouldn’t we all like to see that? Kevin then comes in and she gets straight to the point in which while sweating he lies and says they were talking about basketball. The reason he shouldn’t lie is because she picks up on the fact that Morgan hates basketball and is a hockey fan, he then leaves pretty quickly leaving a trail of sweat behind him.
The team have worked out that the unsub is motivated by maternal desires so either the woman is pregnant or has recently loss a child in one way or another. While the team are given the profile the unsub has already got another victim who has a baby held in the car at gun point. The woman is called Karen and after looking after the baby she decided to adopt him and name him Ben, the unsub is sat in the back with the baby and keeps calling him Johnny and when Karen tells her his name is Ben she goes mad and yells that his name is Johnny and that she changed it before revealing that she is his real mother and she is taking him back.
The team receive a call that another woman has been shot, back at Quantico Kevin takes dinner to Garcia and when she says she is too busy he gives her a velvet cupcake in which she says that he only buys her one of these on special occasions in which he says they will talk later.
We then see the unsub with baby Johnny and wearing the dress and necklace from her previous victim going to a house where a teenage boy answers and we find out that she is called Maggie, they boy is happy to see her and is surprised that she is out.

Maggie wants Tommy to move away with her so they can be a proper family and when he asks about his mum she says they don’t need her, after all she was the one that sent her to jail. They are interrupted by a girl called Julie who has come to ask Tommy to the dance since he hasn’t dated since Miss Holman aka our unsub. When Julie sees that Miss Holman is in the house she reminds Tommy that his mum has a restraining order on her in which Maggie says things change, after all she got out of prison due to overcrowding. She then tells Tommy to take the baby to the car and when Julie threatens to call the police she shoots her in the leg and crushes her phone before leaving.
While this was going on the team have found out that Maggie was released for overcrowding and that all of the victims looked after baby Johnny after Tommy’s mum refused to look after the baby when it was born.
Tommy is worried about Julie so Maggie pulls over the car and tells him if she is not the love of his life like he is hers then he should get out. Tommy locks the car door and they then drive off to this big house where they can be a happy family, just the three of them.

Garcia is looking in to Maggie’s prison life and even though she had limited internet time she searched and emailed someone called Johnny Lewis countless times. It turns out Maggie was up for molester charges on Johnny but they were dropped and this was two years before she met Tommy. The Lewis’s have since moved and the house was bought by no other then Maggie herself.
Maggie hears the police sirens and gives Tommy the gun and tells his to protect his family. Tommy goes to the front porch, gun in hand and tells them to leave. Morgan tells him that Maggie is a predator and they repeat some of the emails she wrote to Johnny. Maggie comes out and yells at Morgan and JJ she doesn’t want him to know about Johnny. When Tommy realises that he isn’t the only one and that what everyone was telling him was right he drops the gun to the floor. As Maggie runs to get the gun Hotch shoots her from inside of the house. Tommy race to Maggie and as she dies her last words are ‘I love you Johnny Lewis.’

The team get back to Quantico and Morgan apologises to Garcia for not calling her back, she says she understands and that she knows what they were talking about due to Kevin bringing her  favourite meals and the excessive sweating, that and hacking in to his computer. Garcia confesses that she doesn’t want anything to change because when relationships become official that’s when things go wrong, Morgan is in the middle of telling her how stupid she is when Kevin comes over so Morgan leaves them to it. Kevin knows that she knows what he was planning and when Garcia says that she is not ready for marriage and doesn’t want to ruin anything, Kevin asks if she is against marriage or against marrying him. When she repeats that she is just not ready he says that he is before walking away.

One Tree Hill - Love The Way You Lie

One Tree Hill
Love the Way You Lie
(Series 9 – Episode 3)

Well this week’s episode had more drama in so gave me something to get my teeth in to and blog about. The only thing missing from this episode was the one and only Nathan Scott – series nine need to get Nathan some more screen time.

We find out that Alex has left Chase heartbroken to go on tour and Chase isn’t happy with Chris Keller for telling her to go – to top it off Chase’s mini me Chuck has now decided to imitate him instead. To make up for the fact that he sent Alex away Chris Keller decided to take Chase to a strip bar – where else?

Haley decides to get Chris Keller to help her cook the burgers as she is really busy and there is a new café opened straight across the street. One of my favourite moments is when Chris Keller is screaming like a girl at the fire on the burgers – LOVED IT. She becomes confused when she notices that he has sat back down and yet the burgers are still being served, when she goes to investigate it is no other than Mr Dan Scott flipping the burgers. I’ve got to say that I am liking the new relationship between Haley and Dan and intrigued to find out how Nathan will react, especially after she stuck up for him when a customer was disgusted that she has a murderer cooking for them.

Clay seems to be in a happier mood and Quinn thinks the tablets are working until she overhears a message from the pharmacy asking if he will be picking his prescription up. Quinn decides to do some investigating when he lies to her face and is shocked to find he is buying drugs. When she confronts him he admits that it’s the drugs he was on after the shooting but he hasn’t got a problem.

After not daring to tell Mouth about his weight gain Millicent blurts it out live on their TV show after Mouth keeps coming up with stupid excuses like the dry cleaner has shrunk his clothes.

Brooke is excited about golfing with her father even though Victoria isn’t too pleased and warns her not to get her hopes up. Victoria turns out to be right when Brooke gets there and her father has already played golf with some potential investors and has got her to come along to seal the deal. Coming home deflated Victoria drops the bombshell that she is leaving for New York. Who knew that one day we would grow to love Victoria?

Julian is still having trouble with hiring out his studio space, calling potential clients and not getting anywhere and even the school trips turns out to be a flop. Julian’s luck is about to change when someone rings up wanting to use his studio for a mini TV series. Excited he goes home to tell Brooke who of course is equally excited and asks him to drop baby Jude off at day care. We then see him going to the cashier and the shop to buy the finest bottle of sherry ready for his big meeting, everything seems to be going well until we see him go to his car and the window has been smashes and an ambulance is waiting – he left baby Jude in the car!! Only in Tree Hill can this happen. Will the baby be ok? Will Julian be able to get rid of his guilt? And when will Nathan Scott grace our screens apart from being on a previously.

More One Tree Hill next week.

Criminal Minds - A Family Affair

Criminal Minds – A Family Affair
(Series 7 – Episode 16)

The episode opens showing a man and woman getting things heated; it then comes to our knowledge that the man is having trouble completing the act. We then see that the woman is a prostitute. The man is pretty sure that he can get it right and asks for her to try something different after all he has paid to have her the whole night. As she sits back on his lap the man stabs her. We then see that the man is in a wheelchair.
We then see Hotch at a café with Beth and he’s not sure if he is going to make it back in time for the FBI Triathlon he has been training for, Beth says that he has been training way too hard to not make it back and she was hoping to wave him to the finish line but then she remembered that Jack will be there. This doesn’t seem to phase Hotch as he wants the two of them to meet. It’s nice to see Hotch moving on and I don’t think Beth has an ulterior motive – at least I hope not.
We then see JJ looking tired and drained and when she admits that she is on double duty with Henry as Will is working you can see that panic in Garcia’s face as they have had a salsa night booked for the past twenty-three and half days and it cannot be cancelled. I love how Garcia is on countdown to girl’s night – just like any of us girls are.
We then get to see an older couple who we find out are the unsub’s parents – they seem to be a troubled couple and the father has a drinking problem. The mother tries to get the unsub to take his medication even telling him they’re vitamins, the unsub is having none of it. The mother tells the father they have got to get him back on his medication because they both know what he does when he is off them.

After the mother overhears his physiotherapist praise him at how far he has come and to keep up whatever was making him keep getting better the mother tells the father to find another girl. When he protests that it is too soon the mother says that it is the only thing making him better so he tells her he will take care of it. Looks like the team have got three team murderers on their hands.
JJ and Prentiss are interviewing a prostitute who was friends with the first victim and at first their isn’t any information she can give them until she remembers a grey van that was parked for hours – the van was parked in a loading only zone.
Wee see a classy looking woman approach the father who says she is here to see Jeffrey, it turn out she is an escort. The next we see of her is when she comes stumbling out of Jeffrey’s room having been stabbed and as she makes her way to the front door we see the mother lock the front door as she gets near and then the father drags her away. We then see the pair of them scrubbing the blood from Jeffrey’s bedroom, the father doesn’t want to keep on doing this but the mother is adamant that they continue because it is making Jeffrey better. They then go to see Jeffrey who demands that they go find him another girls – they tell him that he has to start taking his meds again. Jeffrey gets defensive and says he is not going to turn into a pill popper like his mother. When his father defends her he sniped that he is just an alcoholic.
Back at the police department the team are reviewing the case again and wondering where the bruises that have been found on the girls thighs have comes from – they know that is has come from some sort of restraint but there was no bruises on their arms. It’s Reid who suggests that maybe the unsub is in a wheelchair and that would mean there is more than one unsub.
We then see the mother spiking Jeffrey’s food with his meds; however she stops when he catches her. Its then we see the father with a gun held in her hands, when Jeffrey is out of the way the mother comes and tells the father that it is time. What have they got planned? How will this all end?

There a knock at the door and it turn out to be Jeffrey’s physiotherapist who was invited to dinner by the mother.
The team have looked at the body of the escort and the disposing is different to the first victim, it’s neater but it also makes it too neat. It’s then that the team suggest that the team are parents and son. When Derek asks what kind of sick people would do this? Reid replies someone who has done it before which they then put the power into Garcia’s hand to find them something good.
We then see the mother preparing the dinner when Jeffrey walks into the kitchen with his physiotherapist by his side and you see how happy she is, however her happiness is soon shattered when she realises it is just an illusion. At the dinner table an awkward atmosphere is present and after dinner the mother asks the father if he has got it and he nods as he pats his top pocket.
Garcia has found out that the Collin’s family were in a car accident five years ago where the mother admitted to driving but her injuries were inconsistent to this but the fathers weren’t so it was clear that the father was driving but he had also been drinking. During this accident their son Jeffrey was paralysed.
When Erica (the physiotherapist) goes to get Jeffrey’s medication and drops them as she picks them back up she finds the necklace the escort was wearing with and hand full of blood. As she panics and goes to leave the mother is there telling her she should have left the medication for her to get after all she is her mother and then she whacks her with the gun.
We then see Jeffrey’s father driving and is upset then he has a flashback to him falling asleep at the wheel and being involved in the collision. In present time we see the father takes off his seatbelt and speeds up. He then wraps his car around a lamppost.
The police announce that he died on impact and he had a letter of confession to all four murders.
The team are now at the Collin’s family home and tell that Jeffrey’s father is dead and they know exactly what has been going off despite his confession. The mother has hold of Erica and Jeffrey is pleading to let her go and that it is the end. The mother announces that she promised to take care of everything and as she points her gun at Jeffrey, Rossi shoots her.
Back on the jet Rossi asks what time he needs to pick Jack up and his face drops when Hotch says he has to set off for 5am but he agrees to be there as long as he has a coffee pot on. He then asks Hotch if he is ready or nervous and with a smile Hotch says he is ready. We know that Rossi wasn’t asking if he was ready for the triathlon but ready for the journey of him and Beth. JJ is getting frustrated as she can’t seem to get a babysitter for Saturday night and she knows that Garcia won’t be happy if she has to cancel. Reid then offers to baby-sit, after all how hard can it be?

We then see the team waiting at the finish line for Hotch, Garcia, Prentiss and JJ with sunglasses and looking very hung-over. We also see Jack on Derek’s shoulders (a moment to coo over that for a second please.) Using Reid excellent calculation the team cheer as Hotch crosses the finishing line. After the team congratulate Hotch he is shouted over by Beth I love how she calls him Hotchner instead of Aaron. Hotch then takes Jack over so they can meet and then invites her for a burger as the team look on happy for their unit chief. I really hope this relationship has a happy ending.

One Tree Hill - Know This, We've Noticed

One Tree Hill
Know This, We’ve Noticed
(Series 9 – Episode 1)

Well last night showed the premiere of season 9 of One Tree Hill, not only that but it is going to be the last ever season of the hit TV programme sob!
When Tree Hill was last on our screens we saw Nathan and Clay embark on a new venture, Chase and Alex finally getting together, Haley and Brooke reopening Karen’s Café and Brooke giving birth to her twin boys Davis and Jude. All seemed like a fairytale but as we know it never stays that way for too long in Tree Hill.
The episode gets of to a flying start by showing us what the future holds for our Tree Hill favourites.
We see the one and only Dan Scott in the car with no other than Chris Keller and Dan is holding a gun – once a killer always a killer as they say. Clay and Quinn are arguing about Clay needing help with something and him yelling at her that he doesn’t need her here and he doesn’t want her here. We see Haley identifying a body – whose we’ll have to wait and see but hasn’t this girl gone through enough heartbreak over the years? Brooke is then shown smashing Karen’s Café up whilst a crowd watch in horror. Chase is bundled in to the back of a police car with blood over his clothes and then we are shown the lovely Julian being beat up and then goading his attacker. Of course all of this can only happen in Tree Hill.
Back to the present day we see Brooke and Julian dealing with the joys of having twin babies and being very sleep deprived joking about sending them away or selling them on EBay.
Clay wakes up on a park and a worries Quinn comes to collect him and begs him to go to the doctor, he has sleepwalked a few time and ending up outside, however Clay doesn’t want to involve a doctor just yet. We see Nathan in an airport and ringing Haley as he has been away on work for a while, no matter what these two have been through you can’t deny how much they love each other and we love watching their chemistry together.
We see Haley getting to the café but the front door has been left open, the café business seems to be buzzing and Haley tells Brooke that nothing was stolen but just to remember to lock the door. She then goes to Tric to meet the new manager of Red Bedroom Record to find none other the Chris Keller sat at her desk. In true Chris Keller style he has used a fake name to get his foot in the door and doesn’t seemed to have grown up in the slightest and still knows how to push Haley’s buttons. Chris Keller also manages to upset Alex by saying her acoustic song sucks however he seems to have made things better by remixing the song. All in good time too as Chase has already had a run in with him because when he disses his girl’s song he doesn’t get anything in the bedroom.
We see Haley in her house and one of the doors are slightly a jar which she closes immediately, after speaking to Nathan and saying how much she misses him because if someone was in the house they would get to him first whilst she ran, after we see Haley settle down to sleep we see a silhouette trying to open the door – who is stalking Haley?
After staying up all night to make sure that Chase doesn’t sleep walk through the streets of Tree Hill again he agrees to visit the doctor who gives him some tablets and is going to send him off for some tests.
We then get to see the christening of the twins Davis and Jude in which only Haley and Victoria are the guests before Brooke’s father turns up to play his godfather duties. It did make me wonder why the christening wasn’t a big affair. During the christening Julian gets a phone call to say the film that was hiring out his studio has fallen through leaving him with a studio full of equipment and a huge loan to pay off.
At the end of the christening Dan Scott walks through the church doors to speak to Haley, he explains that his diner has burnt down and he had a little place at the back of it now he has nothing. He doesn’t want their money just a place to stay, Haley reluctantly agrees but later on tells him if Nathan wants him to go he will have to leave.
The episode ends with Dan picking Lydia up from her cot and just as he gets her to calm down Nathan comes in with a cuddly toy. Father and Son reunited once more. I can’t wait for next weeks episode as the beginning of this week has really set everything up. I just can’t believe this is the end of One Tree Hill.
